Separation, legal responsibilities for a home
I am married, not on the mortgage or deed of family home. What is my financial responsibility?

Welcome to AMHD. Just curious: do you have kids in the home, or parents and in-laws? And do you plan (or want) to remain in the home yourself?

If you are legally separated your duties and rights should be set forth in the Agreement.

Also depends on the State, when the home was purchased, who intends to live there - for example, if you are there and your partner is not it is unreasonable to expect your partner to be financially responsible for the home.
