Will a construction adhesive bond tile to steel?
    Hi,
I currently have a tile backsplash that I'm looking to cover with sheets of steel (the same kind used in heating/cooling air ducts. I think it's 1/8" thick).
Would it be possible to glue the steel to the existing tile? I've got an excess of Liquid Nails from a former project that I'd like to use. Would that work?
If not how would I attach it?
    Any prepping suggestions?

    Thanks in advance.

Galvanized air ducts are closer to 1/32" but you can glue them with the standard Liquid Nails Construction adhesive. This stuff is designed for wood but it would hold your sheet metal, Liquid Nails - ProductDetails would work even better. They make hundreds for adhesives and sealants.
