    Baseboard Heaters
I am going to install some baseboard heaters in my basement and need to know how far off the floor do they get mounted or do they set right next to / on the floor? Any info on this I get is appreciated. Thanks.

I typically mount them right on the floor to 1/2" up. If there is carpet I will go at least 1/2" off.

In a basement I would do the same, unless there is ANY chance of flooding. Then go 2"-3" up.
