    Allowed to eat before being neutered?
    I am taking my 7 month puppy to the vet tom. To be neutered and I can't remember whether he is allowed to have breakfast. He's scheduled for a dental the next week so I can't remember which one he has to have no food first.


    PLEASE respond tonight!

    No food or water past midnight.

    Both have no food or water 12 hours prior. And the reason why is because when the animal is under anesthetic and a sleep there is a risk of vomiting that vomit can then be breathed in and drown the pet
