    Their Eyes Were Watching God Essay
    My essay prompt is: How do the three literary movements; modernism, realism, and romanticism, influence the novel Their Eyes Were Watching God?
    But I'm having trouble with it. I'm not sure what the thesis should be, does, The people with whom janie lived with tried to restrict her to an understood, stereotypical role, but janie was able to free herself from these accepted roles, work?

    A basic thesis statement contains three things. Your topic+your opinion/point +plus your reasons.

    I love "Their Eyes Were Watching God." It's one of my favorite books, and I look forward to reading your essay... if you post it.
