I have a full bathroom rough-in on a slab in an unfinished area of my house. Unfortunately, I have a concern that the waste pipe for the tub has been misplaced. As the pipes stick directly out of the concrete, This may cause quite an issue for me. I have attached a drawing of my rough-in showing the placement of the bath pipe and the location the builder intended for a standard 5' tub. The dimension of the waste pipe from the exterior wall is 54"
(6" from the opposing interior wall), which places it just behind the drain but underneath the floor of the tub in front of the overflow valve. As the typical tub drain assembly has the waste pipe located just behind the overflow, I am unsure how to proceed in installing my tub. Is there a way to install the tub in this geometry without raising it off the floor or breaking up the concrete? If not, what would you suggest I do?

Sorry Todd but your drawing came up a blank page on word pad. However, I think I have enough information.
The average rough in for a bathtub is 15 1/2"off the back wall to the center of the trap raiser and 1 1/2" off the front plate to center.
There just isn't any other way around (1) repositing the walls to conform to the present rough in or (2) take out the cement behind the tub dap out and cut the drain line and move the trap and raiser back into position to where the tub can be set. Good luck, tom
