    Child care
I am 16 still in school and have a baby girl my boyfriend is 17 not in school and is currently unemployed at the moment. I have full custody and live at home with my mom he will be paying me child support though. Since we are both underage and unemployed do our parent pay for child care or do we??

Your parents are not legally obligated in any way to care for YOUR baby, that is 100% YOUR responsibility. Your parents did not have that baby, it is not their responsibility to care for it or to pay for its care, or to provide for it.

Charlotte is 100% right here. But if you decide to get out and get a job, there are things to help like Daycare Assistant programs. It varies in every state but you can Google it for your area. You have to be working to be eligible and they will only pay a portion depending on your income. I am not too sure if they will help for school hours, but I know they will for working hours.

NCCIC - Child Care and Development Fund Contacts (CCDF)/Child Care Subsidy Agencies

This may be a start, there are also programs that let you go on and take online high school diploma classes so you wouldn't need daycare for your baby. I hope this helps a little.

I'm intrigued by your question. Why do you ask it? Have your parents indicated in some way that they won't pay for child care expenses? How did that conversation come up? Since you live at home and are a minor, is there some belief you've held / been told indicating your gaurdians are financially responsible for your children?

I'm very intrigued by the process someone like you goes through as they mentally deal with how other people may or may not be responsible for helping them fix their problems.

I'm very interested in all this.

    Income Eligibility Guidelines 04-05

As stated there are federal and state programs to at least help you out with food and medical care for your baby girl.

Your boyfriend / father of the child, needs to mature and get an education and find a job t support you and your child.

You sound like you may have issues with your mother.

First - be very thankful and gracious about every little thing that she helps you out with.

Second, if you can - stay in school and get your HS degree or GED and try to go further.
This is for your future and the future of your child. Census bureau statistics bear out the poverty education level relationship.
