    My periods have stopped
I have a problem back in June 2007 I took a test that said I was pregnant my stomach started toget big and breast hurt and everything that would come along with getting pregnant but in augs 15 2007 I started bleeding really bad like a heavy period I just thought I lost the baby didn't go to any doctor and I have not had but one period sents then and that was in nov. 2007 what could be causing this ? I have never been to a doctor yet could I still be pregnant or could it be something worst ? What should I tell a doctor when I go ? Please help alone and scared    :( :( :(

You need to see an obgyn. When you go tell them exactly what has happened. They will likely do an exam along with some blood work. They will be able to tell exactly what is going on. You need to call and get an appointment asap. It could be a lot of different things and without seeing you or your lab work there is no way I could tell you what is going on over the internet. My advice would be call your doctor or go to the emergency room if your symptoms worsen.

I agree, time for an exam from your OB/GYN.

I am confused though, was your last period in August or November?

How old are you? Are you, or were you, on any birth control?

Thanks for the PM, but it's best to keep answers and questions here on the forum.

So, I assume you are sexually active. Are you using any form of birth control? Even a condom?

It could be many things really. But without knowing your medical history and without being able to do an exam it's hard to pinpoint what it could be.

You are very welcome. Just make a doctor's appointment to discuss your concerns. That's what they are there for.

Don't you go to your doctor for regular pregnancy check ups? Or don't they do that were you are?

In Canada you go to the doctor every month for a check up, until your 8th month, then you go weekly.

Please go to the doctor right away, don't take any chances.
