I've made an abortion last February but on march I got my heavy period but after 10 days of my mestruation I have red discharge or like a blood. And I was used pregnancy test but still positive. What can I do? But I got my heavy period already? Please help me and any advice. Thanks

Most women can expect their levels to return to a non-pregnant range about 4 - 6 weeks after a pregnancy loss has occurred but it can differ depending on type of loss, anyway you are suppose to follow up with your doctor, 2-3 weeks after the procedure, to make sure the abortion was successful. The hormones can be from the prior pregnancy and have not left, depending on the amount of weeks you were before the abortion and your hormone levels at that time. I would suggest you go back to the doctor if you have not done so for your follow up visit, so that they can check you to make sure there is no infection, the pregnancy was terminated and that you are not any in health dangers. Have you had sex since the abortion? And did you follow the doctors order by refraining from intercourse post abortion?

It can take up to 6 weeks for the hormones to get back to normal. I would make sure you see your Dr to make sure everything is OK.
