    1000 yards
    Does anyone know who the last white running back in the NFL to rush for 1000 yards in a year was?

    Hmmm. In this article dated Sep. 2004 it says the last white RB to get 1000 yards in a season was "18 years ago"... so we're looking at about 1986.

    I was thinking John Riggins - but see his last season was '85... but he didn't get 1000 then. He got it in 1984.

    Might it be Craig James of the Patriots in '85?

    I don't know about yards, we use the metric system in football...
