    Can my wages be garnished
    I have had to default on a car loan and I was wondering can my wages be garnished by the car finiancal instute? I live in Washington state. Please advise this is my future and I don't know what I should do.

    If they go to court and get a judgement because you defaulted on the loan, yes, they can garnish your wages.
