    Amortization of Good will?
    Can any one please let me know in detail about amortizaion of good will??

    Where are you located?

    Goodwill is no longer amortized; rather it is tested for Impairment. That is how the International Standards are, as well as Canadian GAAP. I am pretty sure the Americans are also there.
