    Understanding court sommons about debt
I received a summons for a credit card debt. I am sick with worry. I am unemployed, divorced and all alone. The summons says I have 10 days to answer, it also says I physically do not have to go to court to answer. I have no idea what I should be doing. Please I need some answers

    Hello ava1234

The one thing you do not want to do is to ignore the summons because if you do the cc company will get a judgement by default and that gives them the right to attach your wages when ever you return to work or attach your bank account.

Do you think its right for potential employers on applications to ask for the right to check your credit history? Maybe that's why you need a freaking job to begin with!

Do you think its right for potential employers to inquire about your debt? Applications lately say they will do a background check of your credit, what gives them the right? That is why in the first place, I am seeking a job, to pay off my freaking debt.
