    For old 1200 series Braeburn

Old Terminal from New Terminal for
Existing Thermostat New Thermostat Terminal Description
    R, V-VR or VR-R R 24 VAC
    O O Reverse Valve (Cooling)
    B B Reverse Valve (Heating)
    C, X or B C 24 VAC common
    Y, Y1 or M Y 1st Stage Compressor
    E E Emergency Heating
    G or F G Fan Control
    W1, W2 or W-U W2 2nd Stage / Aux Heating[/B]

The new Hunter thermostat will not work for a heat pump.

I believe you have the wrong thermostat for your application.

Hunter is also junk in my opinion. Get a good Honeywell or White Rodgers heat pump unit instead.
