F1, Form 1098-T not reported, options?
    Hello again,

I filed my taxes through the univ, but they didn't fill in details of Form 1098-T that I recd from the univ mentioning amounts billed for tuition fr last yr. I want to file this in order to get some returns. So how should I begin?

    Thanks in advance

    Raj:

If you filed Form 1040NR or 1040NR-EZ, then you need do NOTHING, because you are NOT ELIGIBLE to claim any education credits or deductions.

If you filed Form 1040, 1040A or 1040EZ and that was the correct return for you to file, then you need to amend your tax return to claim the education credits by filing Form 1040X.
