He is 15 almost 16. It has to do with school and him saying his is in a lot of stress. We have him in honors classes, he is a bit lazy when it comes to homework, he gets good grades but, when he sets up early time to meet with teachers he says the teachers arerent there, but the teacher says she was there, I catch him and he will argue me to the death that she is lying, this happens a lots

    Thanks

honors classes especially in high school are extremely stressfull its about 2x more work then regular classes and the tests and quizzes are that much harder. Maybe the reason why he lies to you so much is cause he doesn't want to disapoint you but with everything he has going on with school its stressful.

I, myself slack off a lot but I mean what kid doesn't... lying comes with age. And I mean when my parent ask, so amanda... how are u grades? I say fine.. even if there not all that great. Cause it avoids conversation and school is the worst subject my parents can talk about with me I become very short and irritated very fast.

my friends parental figure constantly stresses her out with school if she doesn't get a C or higher I can consider her grounded for weeks even on tests or quizzes her parental fiugure gets email reports daily do there really is no escapeing it for her...

education is highly important but I think parents tend to overly stress their kids out with it.

I told my mom, u know the more u ask them about school the more I slack off cause I hate the nagging and I know what I need to do. And when u lay off me I tend to do better cause I don't get all stressed out. And its true kmy mom laid off me and now all my grades are because I feel like she has the confidence in me to do it myself and trusts that I will, and I do.

so I guess u can say its just the coming of age thing. Teens lie a lot. I use to lie about going to partys and stuff and now when my mom asks what u doing tonight I say going to dinner then a house party. Be home by curfew and she respects the fact that I'm honest with her.

I guess if u lay off a little he will open up a little that's how its happening with me.

same with relationships I was in a 2 year relationship and my mom would stand by my door on the other side listening in on my arguments then ask what's wronge and I would get in an arguemnet with her cause she was nosey, then she laid off and I started to open up to her myself.

he's just being a teenager, and boys tend to lie more then girls.ive figured that out I have 4brothers
