Is participation in 401k allowed on f1 student visa?
    Hello,

I am currently working under my OPT hours on my student visa. My employer offers very good matching for 401K contributions and before I enroll I would like to make sure that there are no tax laws or other reasons that should prevent me from enrolling.

    Thanks,

    Alex

    Alex:

Yes, you can participate in the 401K. The match is "free money".
