    Post endometrial ablation
Hi, I have recently had an endometrial ablation and am now suffering from a womb infection, My doctor prescribed two lots of antibiotics, which are almost finished and yet I don't feel any better, I am feverish and in a lot of abdominal pain, The best way I can describe it is as a heaviness in the bottom of my tummy, Can anyone tell me if this is normal, and should I expect to get over this anytime soon?:

Hi Audreyanna, I don't have an answer to your question, but it seems that you might have answered mine. I had the ablation one week ago and am experiencing the exact sympoms that you speak of. I feel dizzy, am slighty feverish and feel the heaviness also, in addition to pulsating pains in my lower abdomen. I already figured it's an infection, and plan to call my doctor tomorrow. Gee, I hope you feel better. If I were you I'd call the doctor again. It's possible that you need a different type of antibiotic. Good luck and wish me luck also :-)
