    Separation & 401k
I have been separated for 18 months. I have just filed for legal separation, and have been told that my portion of the 401k stopped when I moved out of the house, not when I filed for a legal separation. Is this true?

Let's say you won the lottery last week, $1 Million; you've been separated 18 months and file for legal separation this week. How much of your winnings do you give the other side?
