Income Tax for my 17 month stay
    Hi

I had a few clarifiactions regarding filing for my 17 month stay in the US on an L1 visa. For the year of 2006 I had already filed the returns. Can you please help me out with what should be done for the salary I was paid for the remaining five months in 2007.

    Any help would be appreciated.

You need to file as a dual-status alien, filing BOTH Form 1040 and 1040NR.
