Directions: Write and balance the following chemical reactions.

Copper(II) sulfide reacts with nitric acid to produce copper(II) sulfate, water, and nitrogen dioxide.

Example:

CuS + HNO3 --> Cu2S + H2O + N

Then put in the charges above the elements

When the questions says "reacts" it means you put a plus sign. When it says "produces" you put the arrow. Understand?
