    Corner Bead
What type of corner bead would you recommend and why(metal, plastic, glue type)?

    Thanks,

    Hey Schmidtler:

Depends on your application, of course, but most commonly I use METAL corner beads on drywall corners because they are simple to use, simple to cut, and hard to damage if someone runs into it with almost anything.. to a point.

Plastic is fine, too.. just not as strong and can be damaged if say a kid runs by with large toy and hits the corner. Metal bead would barely be touched.

    Hope that helped.

I agree, metal is best in most places.

I prefer metal unless I'm doing a bull nose corner, then I use vinyl.
