Child He Never Gets To See But Has To Pay Support
My Boyfriend has a daughter that he barely ever gets to see. He pays child support they take it out of his check every time he gets paid but she always makes excuses as to why the little girl can't come over. He'll get to keep her for a weekend and then he won't see her for months on end... I was wondering if he is paying child support isn't he allowed to see her even if it's just every weekend or every other weekend? What can we do about this because we don't have the money to get a laywer?

Paying child support is not "tied" to visits, what is the child custody order in place. what and when does he suppose to have visits by order.
If she does not allow it, you take her back to court and ask the judgge to order it again, or hold her in contempt for not allowing visits.

Yeah you need to take her to court a d set up a visitation schedule so that she can get in trouble if she just thinks the visitations are up to her on a whim.

Child support and visitation are two separate issues legally. For example... just because he pays support doesn't mean he automatically has visitation rights if they haven't been ordered through the court, and if they have and for some reason he stops paying child support the mother can't stop visitation.
If visitation hasn't been ordered through the court the mother can refuse visitation.

He needs to go to court and petition for visitation. Once it is set up and court ordered, if the mother refuses visitation during the ordered time he can take her back to court and file contempt of court charges.
