    Retirement rollover
    Hi...

I'm new to this so please help me out. I recently left a job and rolled over my retirement into another account. I received a 1099 from the previous investment company that I was using. It shows the totals (I rolled over the entire account) but shows no taxable amount. I usually use a 1040EZ form. Since I rolled this over, I shouldn't have to pay tax. What federal form should I use to do my taxes (I do them myself) if I can't use the 1040EZ form.

    Thanks

You can use either form 1040A or 1040. You will show the rollover on line 16 of form 1040, or line 11 of 1040A, and the taxable amount should be $0.
