    Extended notation in maths
    I was asked to teach extended notation in matematics, What is extended notation?

    There seems to be no specific thing that mathematicians call "extended notation". I assume it's something that has another much more widely used name. I suggest you ask whoever asked you to teach it what they mean by it.
