    Drop health insurance
    Is it legal for a spouse to drop the other spouse from their health insurance before filing for divorce?

    Might depend on the policy or location where you live. Many people have the option to pay for family or single plans depending on their individual desires even if they are married. For example, both spouses may have insurance through work, and would not need a family plan from both employers.
