Feels like a flat tire when driving: tie rod?
My daughter got in her car (92 Pontiac Grand Prix, 70K miles, oil changed faithfully) last night to drive home, and it felt like she had a flat tire. She doesn't. Someone suggested it might be a tie rod.

She's concerned about the cost, as she just had a $400 repair, and we don't know a mechanic.

    Thanks!

What do you mean by, "felt like she had a flat tire"?
Was it pulling or shaking? Need more information.
You don't know a mechanic, who changes your oil faithfully? Maybe they can give you some references.

Could be a stuck caliper that's causing the tire to drag... answering Rich's questions will help immensely

I have to apologize. My daughter has decided to get info from the son of someone she works with. He works on cars.

I appreciate the time and thought you both took in answering.

    Best regards,
    Peggy

PS When it was my car, I took it to one of those 30 minute places; hence, no mechanic.
