    Aggrivated menacing
My brother was charged with aggrivated menacing and is on probation in Ohio and I am wondering if anyone knows if there is a lesser charge that he can plead down to. If anyone can help me with this I would love to hear from you. His little girl and her mama need him to survive and we would like to not have a protection order between them! THANK YOU to anyone who can help me with this matter much love

    Hello brother:

Couple things. First off, I don't understand what you're saying. If he's on probation and charged with another crime, there's a lot more to worry about than a protection order. They are certainly going to violate his probation.

Next thing. A plea bargain isn't his to offer. IF he gets one, the parameters of it will be shaped by the prosecutor.

Third thing. If he menaced his little girls mama, they don't need him back home. Of course, HE'D like to go home and YOU want to help him because you're his brother. But, if that's who his victim is, you and I don't agree.

PS> You wouldn't be asking whether he can change his plea after he's been convicted, are you?? I can't tell what you're asking.

He has violated his probation and will have to go to a probation violation hearing first. Then when that is completed and he is in jail waiting on the next charge to come to trial he will be able to talk about a plea bargain and not until then. In the meantime he should contact his attorney NOW before he's in jail trying to shop for an attorney behind bars.

Sounds like a domestic fight?? And now momma wants him home, now that he is gone. But I am sure may be the one that called the police to come get him??

But yes there are always things to plead down to, ( on this it may be called a 100 things depending on what state this is in ( if in the US)
