    Possible Extradition?
Is a probation violation(s) elegible for extradition if picked up 3500 miles away?

    Probation was for misdemeanor DUI.

    Hello big:

I'm sure it is. They may not come for you though. You might just sit in jail until your present jailers figure it out.

If they want you bad enough they will come and get you. In the meantime you will have an all expenses paid vacation at some far away hotel grey bar until someone works out the paperwork.

Yes, any crime can be extridited for within the US states, and many from other nations. And yes they can for sure on a DUI.
Now the issue is most likely they will not, unless they really don't like you, or that department has a large budget.

So what happens, they stop you, and hold you pending to hear back from the other department, in GA we can only hold them between 30 min to a hour waiting to hear from the other department. If they don't want them right now because of the money, the warrant stays active and the hold and check can happen again and again each time they are stopped
