Am I able to file a lien?
I won a small claims case. The defendant has an '02 Cavalier with a clean title. She claims to have no bank accounts so garnishment isn't an option. I'm wondering if I'd be able to file a lien on her car.

If I can file a lien, I have 2 more questions:
    1) How do I go about doing so?
    2) I turned over the judgment to a collections agency because she refused to pay me the judgment money. Does this prevent me from filing a lien?

You don't want a lien, you want to seize the property. With your judgement, you should be able to take possession of the car, but you would have the collections agency do this.

    Poo-poo... *lol*

I asked about seizing the car a few times before but the judgment itself is under $1,000... no one seemed to think that a seizure was worth doing. It is to me, but that's another matter.
