    Burping Toilet
Here's my problem: A few days ago my toilet started to burp while I was in the shower. Then, the water started to build up in the tub. Now, since last night, the toilet has no water in it unless you go to try and flush it. Once you do, the water just stays in the toilet and it very, very, VERY slowly goes down until there is no water in it, again.
    Please help!! Thanks, Kat

You have a blockage in the branch from the toilet to the main that needs to be snaked out. You may snake from the lavatory roof vent or you ncan pull the toilet and go down the closet bend. Good luck, Tom

Yes its true, my toilet burps a big bubble when you flush. Sometimtes it spits up quite high. I have turned off the water, flushed it down and refilled the tank. Its been like this for about 3 + years. I don't know if it was like this with the previous owner.
