    Odd Period and Symptoms
    I have always had regular 29 day periods with 4 days bleeding and one day spotting. This month it was quite different. I had 4 days light spotting with 2 days medium blood flow then 4 more days light spotting. This is the first irregular period I can remember. Could this be a sign of pregnancy or perhaps something more serious or is it possible to have a one off irregular period after 10 years of regular ones? Thanks for your help.:rolleyes:

    Aussie, most menstrual cycle intervals occur about every four weeks, with the normal range between 24 and 35 days. Don't worry if you have one or two irregular cycles. Occasionally all women have variations. True irregularity persists over several months so if you do notice wide fluctuations in your cycle speak to your doctor about it.
