Low water pressure on hot side of shower. How do I fix it?
The pressureon the hot water side of my shower is very low. The cold water comes out normal, but as I turn the handle to fade it into the hot the pressure drops by over 60%. Copper lines run into the shower valve. I live in an apartment complex. The maintenance person looked at it but didn't fix it and didn't say anything about it. Do I need to replace the shower valve or could there be something else behind this issue. I'm a little stump. I would really appreitiate the help, it is def. needed...

You needn't replace the valve. What's happened is that some crud got sucked up into the hot water inlet ports of the valve, (how ofter do you flush your water heater out?) What's the brand name of the valve? How old? Back to you, Tom

Low Pressure Hot Water Side Only [ 5 Answers ]

I just recently had to do some repair on my bathroom sink because I accidentally drilled into a water line in my concrete wall (no dry wall at all). Well, I made the fix on the pipe after opening up the wall. When all is said and done I hooked up the flex lines to the faucet and nothing comes out...

Low Pressure on Hot Water Side in two sided tub faucet [ 2 Answers ]

I am in escrow on a home, extremely well-maintained, 17-yr old home. The master has a jucuzzi style tub. The faucet has two knobs, one for hot, one for cold. The cold comes out fine. When the inspector turned on the hot water, the faucet leaked and the hot water pressure was low. He...
