    Remove Peerless Diverter Assembly
I've been having low pressure in my kitchen sink for a while now. The rest of the house is fine. The faucet is made by Peerless, and after browsing their site appears to be model P99575-SS.

I've taken apart as much of the faucet as I thought safe to figure out the problem and noticed that when I reassembled it the pressure was even worse. However, the sprayer still had good pressure.

I checked the aerator at the end of the spout and it's clean.

I removed the spout and turned on the water and it barely sprayed out.

I attempted to remove the plastic diverter assembly by both turning it and by pulling up on it. I only managed to destroy it.

The positive is that the sink pressure is better, but still not great. The problem now is that I have a shredded piece of plastic for a diverter.

So... how is the diverter assembly supposed to be removed?

Before we can answer we need to know, the bramd name, the type,( one handle or two knobs) the model or its age. If we had that information we could instruct you on the repair and give you a part# to get a new diverter. Back to you, Tom

Tom, did you read my post? :P

I gave the brand and model # already: Peerless P99575-SS.

I already have the part # for the diverter, I just don't know how to get the old one out. I'll probably run to Lowe's and pick up a new one here shortly to see what it looks like outside the faucet.

Low pressure from kitchen faucet [ 5 Answers ]

We had a handy man come in to snake out our sink because it wasn't draining. Since he did this, we had problems with super low water pressure in the kitchen sink. My husband is handy, so he figured it was the faucet that was clogged. We bought a brand new faucet and installed it and STILL no...

Low Pressure at Kitchen Faucet [ 10 Answers ]

Within the last week, the water pressure at my kitchen sink has diminished to a trickle. I have taken it apart, cleaned the filter, then I took the filter out, but still the pressure is low. Pressure at all other faucets is fine. Any suggestions?
