Does anyone know if you can go to jail for theft under 1000 in canada... Im scared that I might go to jail its my first offence minus a getting caught shoplifiting when I was 16 but I was never charged I was just giving a fine that my parents had to pay... im now 20 and I don't want to go to jail any advice would be apperciated:(

But how much was it, how did you steal it?
