    Leaky Waltec bath fixture
I have really old 2 handled waltec shower faucets that are dripping and I know the reason why. I have replaced the washers on the cartridges, but the seating inside the tube appears to be pitted around the perimeter so that the new washers cannot make a perfect seal.

Does anyone know if that part is removeable from inside the tube, or do I have to go with a whole new faucet and diverter fixture using one of the later round coverplate upgrade/modifications.

This does not sound like a cartridge at all, sounds more like a valve stem. Seats can be replaced or resurfaced with a special cuter than sits inside the valve body.

We've recently remodeled our 50 year old bathroom. Replaced our tub shower with a new single handle blending valve. Now we're totally freaked out because the pipes appear to be vibrating when we set the handle for a warm blend of water. No vibration when full hot, or full cold, just when it's...

Hi, My Hampton Bay bath light fixture recently started to act up. It has 3 bulbs and when switched on, one bulb would go off for a minute or so then come back on. It does this on and off. I rewired the connectors and then a different bulb would have the problem. I replaced all the bulbs so it's...
