    Hey srobinson.

A single knob faucet is a shutoff or a single handle kitchen faucet? A lavatory sink faucet? An outside sillcock faucet?

If this is a single handle faucet start by removing the aerator at the end of the faucet spout (turn clockwise to remove) and clean it. Then engage handle and purge spout clear.. then re-install aerator.

Try this and get back to us. Answer the questions please. Thank you.
