    My dog ate a chicken pad?
    Hello. My dog just ate one of those pads that is at the bottom of a package of wrapped chicken. I was in the shower and I found the trash and the chicken tray or bottom piece still in tact, but the blood/juice soaked pad missing. He appears normal now. However, lately he has been gagging and throwing up a whitish foam with only hair in it. Should I take him to the vet? I am concerned for salmonella poisoning and other complications from the pad. :confused:

    Yes, take him to the vet. And make sure that he has plenty of water..

    Honestly, if you ever wonder if it would be in your pet's best interest that they go to the vet, then take them.
