    ITAX-Dependents exemption
    Hi,

I do not have the ITIN number for my wife and son. I know I can get it but they do not stay in US is it permissibile by law if I will take their exemption. They stayed in US for 2 months in the tax year. She is not working anywhere.

    Thanks

    Saurabh:

No, you cannot claim them if you were in the U.S. for only two months.
