Hi, I am a 52 yr old man, single and live in a duplex here in my town in California. I have 2 duplex mates, Im guessing both around 32. One of them is from Brazil, and ever since she's moved in about 6 months ago she has been very friendly towards me. I know this is part of her culture but I sense an attraction. The past 3 months we have talked more. She has asked for help with her car and 2 weeks ago she asked me in for coffee. I also bought both her and her roommate Christmas gifts for there dogs, ( we all have dogs). Last week I went over to talk to her about our garage doors. She was getting hers fixed and mine needed it too. She always opens the door very enthusiastically when Im there. She asked me in for coffee and we talked. Today I went over and asked her to dog sit my dog for 3 days, she said yes. I notice she plays with her hair, makes eye contact and seems fidgety, as do I, when we talk together. I know she feels comfortable around me or she wouldn't ask me in for coffee, or ask me to help with her car. So, I'm getting a vibe but that might be my (OMG, she's cool, and I like her vibe). WE talk more and more, getting friendlier as neighbors. I know she's single as I heard her talking to a friend about how its "nice to be on my own and get to know me". This was about 3-4 months ago.

So any feedback on how do I know she may have more than a neighborly interest.

She likes you. Be the best friend you can be. Let her know that you will allow her to shine. If you tell her that you are thinking about getting into a relationship, she will tell you yes or no in her own way.
