    Wedge-loc drain
I am installing a shower receptor with a "wedge-loc" drain. It looks simple however they failed to send instructions on how to install the thing. Does the rubber donut simply slide over the 2" waste pipe or is the donut inserted into the drin hole in the receptor and then the 2" pipe pushed through.

Replacing Wedge Lok Seal [ 3 Answers ]

I've got a leak in a shower pan and have narrowed it down to a Wedge Lok Seal. The local plumbing supply center gave me one, which was nice, but they couldn't offer much advice on removing the old one and installing the new one. Anyone done this before?
