So yeah .. I don't really know where else to go , who else to talk to .
My best friend moved to another country 6 months ago next week . She and I have been best friends since we met in grade 1 . That's more than 8 years . We've gone from spending every single day together , to not at all . Talking on the phone most nights , to rarely dialing her long distance number .
Now , I'm not one of those people who believe I can only have one best friend - in fact I have three - but none of them are as easy to talk to , or care as much as she does . Ihaven't known them as long , and feel like they still judge me for what I say and how I act . They miss her too , I know , but sometimes I feel like I'm the only one that cries herself to sleep most nights , and thinks about what our new highschool friends would think of her , or wonders if she's thinking of me too . My friends here never want to talk about her , and usually just brush me off with a " oh, stop being depressed . Just because she moved away doesn't mean you have to cry over it all the time " . I just don't think they get what I'm feeling . I'm not crying over it to get attention , and I can't help it ! She's like a sister to me , and now she's gone .
I really don't know what to do . No one is willing to listen to me , and there's no way that she's coming home any time soon .. please help me .

Are you guys able to write or call one another? What about IM on the computer?
Try and enjoy the friends you have here or make some new ones. Maybe it will ease some of the pain of her being away.
