It's 2008. Time to throw out that rule. Ask him out.

Why don't you ask guys out?

I prefer a guy to ask me out, too, but it wouldn't stop me (actually, hasn't stopped me) from asking a guy if he'd like to go out for coffee or catch a movie...

If you like him, don't sit around and wait for him to notice you - or ask you. He may be incredibly shy and never ask!

Don't be overly flirtatious, just ask him if he likes coffee... or ice cream... whatever... don't make it a big deal, just ask! :)

I say - SPLIT THE DIFFERENCE. Invite him to ask you out.

"So, when are you going to ask me out?" (big, innocent butterfly eyes)

Any girl that's willing to walk out of my life without saying how she really feels about me wouldn't make a good girlfriend anyway. So if she likes me and I don't get it and she don't say anything, her loss.

    I met M. through work.
I told him to come out and meet me @ my usual bar on a Friday night. Totally casual, nothing else implied.
    We've been together for 2 years :)
