    Goodman Furnace-again
I have a Goodman GMP150-5 with A/C the upper fan comes on, the glow plug lights and ignites the gas jets but the big fan on the bottom won't start up, and therfore the gas jets go out. The basement flooded overnight but not enough to reach the circuit board even though the wiring got wet somehow. The 3 amp fuse is OK so is there something on the circuit board that can be replaced can the board be replaced or should I be looking at something else?

If you had water you better call for professional service. Way to many things to look at and check for safe operation.

I called a professional as you advised. Serviceman found a faulty switch behind the door panel. Probably got wet. Since the unit had two switches on the circuit he bypassed the bad one and the system is running fine. Thank you for your quick response.

Goodman furnaces are the worst. Usually the guys that install them are fly by night people with many BBB complaints like Park and Sons or Emergency Heating and Repair in Omaha Nebraska. If you are reading this and have a Goodman Furnace big, rip it up and get another bid from a reputable dealer. Goodman does not select dealers, many won't carry them. They are not worth it. The lower initial cost will soon be erased by having to have repairmen over to look at it and fix it. Spend the extra money on better stuff. I will replace my Goodman within three years even if it is still working.

((The probem in Goodman won't use dealers, they sell their crap to anyone))

The factory has a policy and they DO NOT sell to anyone.
The factory only sells to wholesale houses for the HVAC trade.
It is the wholesale house or the dealer that is selling to anyone.

Goodman is just as good as any other equipment if installed correctly.
The problem is many units are not installed correctly because Joe homeowner bought on off Ebay and installed it himself causing all the problems.
