    Poor private well H20 Pressure
    What is the best way to increase water pressure on private well? Would like to be able to take showers in both bathrooms at same time. Currently pressure does not permit multiple showers.

    Pressure can be adjusted at the switch. However, there is no guarantee of a "dual shower" ability. Do this: There are two adjustment nuts, found by removing the grey cover. There is a spring under each one. Turning clockwise will increase the settings. You will see the result by watching the pressure gauge as the pump cycles on and off. First, tighten the nut on the longer screw. This will increase both cut-in and cut-out pressure. Set it for the CUT-IN that you desire. Second, adjust the nut on the shorter screw. It adjusts the CUT-OUT only. There should generally be about a twenty pound difference between cut in and cut out. A full turn of the nut will account for 2 to 4# of pressure increase, although that is strictly a rule of thumb.
