    98 honda accord lx 2.3 4 cylinder single vtec
    Hi..
    I own a 98 accord lx.. the idle fructuate up and down, for the life of me I can't seem to get the it fix right, 3 people tell me three different things.
    I have check for leeks in the vacuum hose- no leak. Changed out--- all new hoses.
    I have change the idle air control valve sensor-- still the same {idling up and down.}
    Clean out the throttle control sensor... no change
    It costing a lot of wasted time and money.
    Can someon with please help me fix this thing...

    I've seen many of these problems solved by replacing the Ignition Control Module--remember to coat the back of the ICM with an even coat of heat transfer silicone grease. If you don't want to replace it outright, AutoZone can test your old ICM for free. Here's how to do the work yourself:

2000 Honda Accord 4-cylinder [ 1 Answers ]

I have a 2000 Honda Accord 4-cylinder. The lights on my dash clock and my odometer (as well as low fuel light) are not lit up. Also when I use my door lock alarm, it does not beep anymore when I lock the doors. Could it be a fuse and what and where is the fuse I am going to need to replace?

Will not start, but backfires, my briggs vanguard 16 single cylinder, it does have an [ 1 Answers ]

The anti backfire solenoid appears to be working, and it does click when ignition turned on. I cleaned the plug and regapped but does the same backfire, any help would be appreciated thanks. Danny [email protected]
