    Potential Lawsuit?
I am underage and was admitted through the VIP door of a popular nightclub and never had to show id. During the night I was drinking (but was not drunk). I was assaulted by someone and seriously injured. The defendant is currently standing trial for two felonies. Do I have a lawsuit against the nightclub since I was admitted underage and severely injured on their premises?

The nightclub would have a good case against you for being on their property and being underage. You can consult with an attorney on this one and if he decides to take the case, obviously you have a case. Most attorneys don't take cases unless they feel they are going to win. In any event, it's going to be hard to sue an entity where you were essentially an uninvited guest and got injured. If you racked up a considerable hospital and medical bill, you just may have some sort of a case.

    Hello minor:

I think you may have a case. I'd visit a few lawyers. If you get interest, they should take the case on a contingency basis. That means you don't pay unless you win.
