Garbage disposal switch with no ground
I'm replacing the switch for my garbage disposal. It has a red wire on the left and a black wire on the right. I'm replacing it with a switch interrupter that has both screws on one side and a ground on the other. Which wire goes on the top screw and what do I do about a ground?

    Thanks!

Connect the 2 screws to either terminal, it dosen't matter if the screws are top and bottom or right and left, connect ground to ground on switch(It is the body of the switch).

I had a garbage disposal installed in my kitchen by a plumber. Sometime when we put garbage in and turn it on it shoots out the other drain and comes up into the other sink basin. My guess is that too much garbage is being put inthere at one time and shoots it across. Also, the instructions say to...
