    Installing Kenmore dryer heating element
I just bought a new heating element (3387747) for my Kenmore 90 series dryer (Model 110.62902100), but when I went to reinstall it, I realized that I forgot to write down which wire was on toip and which was on bottom. Both are red and one has a white stripe.

    Does it matter?

If both connect to the element, it doesn't matter.

For future parts or diagrams for your dryer goto:
    Welcome to the Parts Store
    Type in "110.62902100"
Then you can view diagram or parts list, And you can order. Take Care

Thanks, I hooked it up the way I thought they came off and it worked. Nice to see it doesn't matter as a back up. I have all the diagrams that came with the dryer, same as online, but they don't show how the wires hook up to the pieces.

I found a couple pics of the element installed online, bit there was lint right at the junction of the wires and I couldn't tell which one went which way.

Doesn't matter now anyway, it seems to be working just fine.

    Thanks for your help.
