This guy and I have been friends for what is know 5 monthes and in that time we have became really close. I would like to go out with him but I'm way to chicken to say anything to him. Our friends tell him to go out with me etc and he doesn't seem to say much. The odd time when he's asked would yeah go out with her , he says I guess so. His family says he likes me and all and we seem to hangout like were dating with out the kissing and holding hands , although we walk shoulder to shoulder. Well I want to take him out and do somethng for valitines day even if its just as friends. Im not sure how and if I should ak him out? What I should do to take him out?in the end I just want to at least have someone close to my heart with me for valtines day.Keep in mind we are both 16. Any ideas will be helpful

You could surprise him with something cute (ok, maybe a little cheesey lol), like a teddy bear from the build a bear work shop. You can make them so that when you squeeze them they make noise or say stuff. And you can make your own recording. So you could come up with something sweet to say to him. And dress it up all cute for valentine's. And then you could take him to dinner and/or a movie.

That sounds like an good idea I'm not sure where to get a build a bear but I can look that up.and he loves art so he'll think its awsome. I know that he'd keep it too.I thought about going to see a movie and I think I might still take him to a movie.other idea I had was to take him skating just us two.

That would be fun too. What's more romantic than skating around the rink hand in hand? :)

Yeah, I was also the one that tot him to skate which makes it cute too.
